Chantel joined the Blair Hill Inn team in 2018 after holding restaurant leadership roles in restaurants in San Francisco, Montana and beyond. Her career in hospitality began with watching Julia Child as a kid, and she’s had a romance with food ever since.
Chantel graduated from Le Cordon Bleu western culinary institute in Portland, Oregon, with a degree in Management in Hospitality and Culinary Arts. Along her career path she developed a passion for wine, and spirits, and has passed the advanced test with the International Sommelier Guild. She is currently working on her Wine & Spirits Education Trust certification and aspires to become a Master of Wine.
Chantel is also passionate about traveling and aspires to see as much of the world as possible. Her travels help generate new ideas for food, wine, and service that she brings back to the guests of Slate Restaurant.
